Description
For the second year for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, IKEA Norfolk is partnering with Moms on a Mission to make a difference in Hampton Roads, and you can help! IKEA will provide items for children to select and pack into a bag to donate to Moms on a Mission. Children can also make a card to go in the bag.
Moms on a Mission will use the items for their Welcome Home backpacks, which they give to children of families transitioning out of homelessness. This activity is designed for children ages 5 and up.
Space is limited and registration is required. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day was designated as a National Day of Service in 1994 to encourage everyone to make a difference to improve their communities.
