The Hurrah Players, Inc., Virginia’s Leading Family Theatre Company, is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization committed to unite and advance communities through accessible, quality, family-friendly performances and education.
The Hurrah Players fun and interactive camps will teach campers everything that goes into a Musical Theater performance! Come sing, dance and act with us!
Be a star at Hurrah! Ages 5+. No experience necessary!
Registration starts March 1 for both Spring Break and Summer Camps.
You must call 757-627-5437 M-F 9:00am to 4:30pm to register.
There are 4 sessions of Summer Camp:
Camp 1- June 17-18
Camp 2- July 8 -19
Camp 3- July 22- August 2
Camp 4 - August 5-16
During Summer Camp, there is a small performance on the last day and an optional field trip.
Camps are 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, with available aftercare until 5:30 pm if needed.
We also offer Summer Intensive- June 17- August 2 Ages 12+ For those ages 12 and up that wish to begin a new class subject or polish their skills. We offer Musical Theatre ( open to all), Tap 1-2 ( newer tappers ), Tap 3-4 (experienced tappers), Acting (open to all) and Jazz 1-2 (newer dancers) and Jazz 3-4 (experienced dancers)
